FREE WORKPLACE BIG FIVE TEST
Meet the science everyone else waters down. Experience the Big Five.
The Big Five is the five-dimension model personality researchers converged on over four decades, and it remains the scientific consensus. This free test is an introduction: a first look at what the WorkPlace Big Five Profile® can reveal about how you work, based on an estimate of your five supertraits.

What is the Big Five personality model?
The Big Five, also called the Five-Factor Model, describes personality along five continuous dimensions: Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Emotional Stability. Each person sits somewhere on every dimension rather than belonging to a single category. It’s the most extensively validated framework in personality research, with 40+ years of peer-reviewed evidence across cultures and languages. In the WorkPlace Big Five Profile®, these dimensions carry workplace-focused names: Need for Stability, Extraversion, Originality, Accommodation, and Consolidation.
How is this different from the free personality quizzes online?
Most free assessments online sort you into one of a handful of types. That makes for a tidy label, but it flattens the differences that actually matter at work: two people with the same type can focus, decide, and handle pressure in very different ways.
This test is built on the Five-Factor Model and the same research foundation as the WorkPlace Big Five Profile®: continuous scales instead of categories, grounded in 40+ years of peer-reviewed evidence. You get a position on each dimension, not a four-letter label. And because it’s a scale, it describes tendencies you can work with, not limits you’re stuck with.
What do you get?
A first look, not a full profile. Here’s what the free test includes:
1
An estimate of where you sit on each of the five supertraits
2
Plain-language interpretation of what those results suggest about how you work
3
A first look at where your tendencies give you energy and where friction may show up
4
A preview of what the full WorkPlace Big Five Profile® adds with 23 subtraits
About your results: This free test is an introduction, not a full profile. It estimates your five supertraits and offers personality-informed statements to reflect on, but it does not measure the 23 subtraits, where the WorkPlace Big Five Profile® delivers its precision and applied workplace insight. Use these results for personal reflection and to explore whether the WorkPlace Big Five Profile® is right for your organization, not as a basis for hiring, promotion, or other employment decisions.
How long does it take?
About 5 minutes, on any device. Results are available immediately.
Want the full picture?
The supertraits tell you where you sit. The 23 subtraits tell you why, and what to do with it. Two people with similar Extraversion results can differ sharply in how they lead a meeting, network, or recharge after a long day. The full WorkPlace Big Five Profile® resolves each supertrait into its subtraits and interprets your results against the real demands of your work. That’s where the insight becomes specific enough to act on.
What happens to your results?
Your results from this test aren’t stored. Once you leave the page, they’re gone, so save anything you want to keep. Nothing is shared with an employer or added to an organizational dataset. Your data privacy is respected, full stop.
What if you want to bring this to your organization?
That’s where it gets interesting. Individual insight is useful. An organization where everyone shares the same validated language is something else entirely: managers who understand how each person on their team works, teams that can name friction before it costs them, and development that reaches every employee, not just the 15% most organizations reach through formal programs (Gartner).
We is the applied personality insights platform that delivers the full WorkPlace Big Five Profile® to every person in your organization and translates their results into guidance they can use in the flow of work. It complements the coaching and programs you already have and carries them into everyday work.
