What is WorkPlace Big Five Certification?

WorkPlace Big Five Profile® Certification is a structured credential, not a one-time course—five modules covering the science, the interpretation skill, how to apply personality insights across the employee lifecycle, from selection through succession, and the ethics of using personality data with real clients and teams. More than 5,000 professionals have completed it, across 28 countries.

Is certification required to use the We platform?

No. The two are separate paths. We is built so applied guidance reaches employees directly, which means organizations don’t need to, but may choose to, certify people to ensure they understand the methodology. Certification is for practitioners who want to work in-depth with the instrument themselves with their own clients and teams.

For independent consultants specifically, certification and the platform work together: the credential differentiates your practice, and the platform lets you extend that impact between client engagements.

What does certification give you professionally?

A validated scientific foundation and a differentiated position. Practitioners working from categorical models are common; practitioners who can interpret continuous Five-Factor data at the subtrait level and translate it into applied guidance are not. It also connects you to a practitioner community 5,000+ strong and to Paradigm’s ongoing research and resources.
